I was verifying the wowlet download file, I got the correct hash with 256 not 512.
Am I not seeing something?

The PGP message is signed and uses sha512 - it is inbetween -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- and -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----.
Now, the contents of this PGP signed message lists the sha256 checksums of the individual files.
Yes, it is confusing. I will try to make it less confusing next release lol.
