Now that the central WOW server is switching from RandomWOW to SHA3 in its proof of work, we should all become expert FPGA engineers and chip designers.
Currently planning on going through nand2tetris and then learning a bit of VHDL. Still not sure which dev board I’m going to buy, but I don’t think I’m ready to start re-purposing old gzip accelerator boards yet .
This sounds like a fun summer project! I have a CORA Z7 eval board I drunkenly bought one night. Maybe we can shift to proof-of-line-completed-in-tetris consensus method at some point.
