Hi, I would like to talk to wownero experts for a suggestion: why not using ElGamal commitments in wownero?

A criticism made to monero is that the supply auditability relies on crypto assumptions. ElGamal may be a solution, allowing to verify the actual supply of wownero with certainties and no assumptions. Transactions would still remain completely private and anonymous.

Thoughts?
If not, is there other ways to make the supply certain without sacrificing the privacy?
