Hi there, newb here. I created a wallet and wanted to export key images (I think that would give me all the keys needed for viewing and spending). I'm using Wowlet. It says it created the image but I can't find it in the folder I selected. I'm not hiding any file formats so it should be visible. Did it get created somewhere else? thanks in advance to anyone who can give me a hand with this.😎

exporting key images is usually for advanced users that need them for a particular reason.

what are you trying to do?

I was looking for a way to save my keys instead of writing them down by hand and this function sounded like something that would do something similar to windows image file.  I'm playing around with an test wallet to get familiar with the functionality and this one peaked my interest.
1. If you could shed some light on the purpose of that function I'd appreciate it
2. Regardless of the purpose, the file isn't being saved at least not where I'm saving it. If it's saved somewhere else it's concerning because if I can't find it I can't protect it and I suspect it has some important information .
Hope that clarifies it. Thanks for taking the time to respond :sunglasses:

It is too technical, you don't have to worry about them for now, but if you want to read up, check out

All you need is the 14-word "seed" to restore/backup your wallet.
